It was the best of both worlds for Natalia and Gregg. At their intimate outdoor ceremony and champagne dessert reception, they celebrated with close friends and family. Despite the Miami heat, Natalia looked cool, calm…and gorgeous, wearing her elegant Vera Wang gown, accessorized by a fabulous jeweled belt. Later, this fun-loving couple slipped into more casual attire and cut loose at an Oyster Bash hosted by the groom’s brother. If you’re thinking about a non-traditional reception, let this stylish wedding be your inspiration…enjoy!

The ceremony
Our ceremony was a small private event with only our immediate family. We chose to have a non-denominational ceremony that reflected our love and commitment to each other.
Our reception was definitely non-traditional. We had a cake and champagne toast reception for our family, closest friends, and out of town guests. Then we chose to change in to more comfortable clothes and throw a ragin’ Louisiana crawfish and oyster bash in our brother and sister-in law’s beautiful backyard. The bash was casual, festive, totally perfect for Miami, and not to mention, a ton of fun!
How Natalia found her dream wedding dress
I definitely started my search for a wedding dress with a particular style in mind. I ended up with a dress that was totally different than what I originally thought I wanted. When I tried on the Vera Wang Fawn I knew I had to have it! It was everything I wanted, plus some that I didn’t know I wanted. It felt beautiful, light, flowed perfectly and I still felt a little bit sexy.

Why she decided to sell her wedding dress
I just could not justify buying a dress that was so expensive, wearing it for a few hours and then putting it in a closet for the rest of time. I believe in recycling and re-using and let’s face it, it would be such a shame for that beautiful gown to be hiding in a closet! I think that this dress can make someone else just as happy as it has made me, and that’s smart, kind, and wonderful on many levels.
