Lively, fresh, and confident, Hayley Paige is definitely one of the world’s top wedding dress designers.
Her bubbly and sweet femininity appears in everything she touches, but her designs are more than traditional gowns – Hayley takes things up a notch by adding a touch of edginess. We have long had a small obsession over her gorgeous designs and with the launch of her most recent collection, it got us wondering…what is the Hayley Paige brand all about?
Hayley Paige: The Beginning
Hayley always had a creative personality, so when it came time to go to college, she knew fashion was for her! She attended Cornell and began her career in fashion with an internship for Nina Garcia at ELLE. After the debut of her 10-piece wedding dress collection during a Cornell runway show, Jill Stuart, who was in the attendance, hired Hayley on the spot. And just like that, a star was born!
Hayley established herself as an essential designer for the Melissa Sweet Bridal and Bridesmaid Collections. She was the primary designer to assist with the launch of the first Marchesa Eterna bridal collection at the well known Priscilla of Boston. JLM Couture, an iconic fashion brand, brought Hayley into their fold as head designer in 2011 and was responsible for supporting and funding the launch of her namesake bridal collection at a young age of 25.
Hayley Paige Style
Raised in California, Hayley Paige captures a unique aesthetic that balances whimsical with exquisite detail in each of her designs. Interesting contrasts are seen in pairings like sparkle and matte fabrics that give each bridal gown an unmistakable personality that enhances the bride’s own captivating magic. Her imaginative and creative soul allows her to see the beauty in small details, and she is not afraid to push boundaries. With each bridal gown collection, you will fall in love with the unexpected union of textured elements such as sheer fabrics, hand appliquéd lace, and floral fabrics, evoking a feeling of whimsical refinement. As a finishing touch, each dress is given a name, bringing its unique soul to life.
