Jessica + Gino | September 21, 2012 | Hotel Arista, Naperville, IL
Today’s Real Wedding from Naperville, Illinois was a warm and romantic event with modern, grand style. I love the purple lighting in shades of indigo, violet, orchid and plum and the tasteful use of draped sheer white fabrics is so high impact. Such details give the venue a very polished, modern-chic finish…all in keeping with Jessica + Gino’s aim to make their guests feel like royalty. And speaking of royalty, don’t miss Jessica’s stunning Vera Wang ‘Ethel’ gown designed in stretch silk mikado with flowy silk organza bottom. My favorite part: the belt/sash pictured is made of Sworavski crystals and pearls, retails for $1450 AND it is included in the sale of this dress…Yes please!!!
The Ceremony + Reception
We had a traditional and heartfelt ceremony at Hotel Arista. It was a tearjerker thanks to the groom! He had the entire room in tears. You could certainly feel the love. The reception was a fabulous one! We wanted everyone to feel like royalty and eat in grand style. Our guests were treated to filet mignon and escolar, late gourmet burgers and milkshakes, popcorn, signature drinks to name a few. Everyone felt special!
Jessica’s Dress Search
I started my search knowing that I did not want a ball gown or A-line style dress. After just a little searching, I decided that mermaid was the style for me. I searched hundreds of bridal magazines and websites and finally came across my dream dress! I saw the Vera Wang Ethel and knew that this was it. I went to the Vera Wang store and fell in love!! My search was over. This dress was so fashionable yet classic, which I felt fit my style so well!

Why Jessica Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I wanted someone else to get to enjoy my dress as much as I did. Instead of it just sitting in my closet I decided someone else could love it just as much for a fraction of the price!
