From Julie Vuillemin, the planner:
“This photo shoot was designed to highlight a modern bride who dares and who fully accepts her choices inspired by fashion. She’s different, more free, and at ease with herself enough to opt for atypical accessories. From this initial idea, we have chosen to work with only the leaf of grass (Miscanthus) associated with the orchid to create original, bare, and simple accessories, ceremony and table. We have diverted objects and accessories from their primary use; the gilded metal cuff as a bouquet handle, the candlesticks turned into vases, and the dried leaves of grass-like support for the wedding rings, napkin rings, and crown.
We wanted to follow our bride-to-be in her intimacy – from her awakening until the end of the evening, and to capture her emotions discreetly, like stolen moments. We created a very natural and simple makeup and chose to work a modern hairstyle – sophisticated and adapted to the incredible head accessories that we had chosen, the minimalist crown, and the XXL hat. We wanted a ring that echoes the cuff used for the bouquet. This accumulation of rings won our hearts!
For our model, we hoped a look with a strong and central masterpiece, the blouse, and a skirt with beautiful & elegant lines and glamorous, modern, and trendy accessories highlight it. This original and graphic wedding cake in the shades that we defined was specially created for the shooting like the contemporary stationery that forms a coherent whole with the atmosphere of the place.”
