“The idea for this collaboration was to stage the aesthetic of a more modern, minimalist bride and her bridesmaids. Knowing that we wanted to create clean imagery with both an editorial and bridal fashion appeal, we chose to feature simpler dresses paired with sculptural floral headpieces against both urban outdoor and an indoor botanical installation backdrops. Each monochromatic look worked to create the artistic, clean imagery we were aiming for. As artists, we wanted to push ourselves to create imagery that would inspire the senses of our future brides through the concept of beauty through both simplicity and nature. This editorial allowed us to push our limits as artists and try something new we hadn’t tried before. We chose to shoot in two locations, one being an urban underpass, and the other being none other than the Tinsel Rack warehouse, which allowed the beautiful tropical sun to pour into the studio.”
