This Chicago wedding is full of charm. We love the gorgeous flowers, the pretty pale pink bridesmaid dresses and the bride’s stunning Vera Wang Ghillian. But most of all, we adore how radiant the couple looks and the happiness you can feel through the pictures.

The Ceremony
We wanted to get married outside, and the Herrington has the perfect courtyard setting alongside the Fox River. It was idyllic! We walked down a rose petal aisle and got married underneath an arbor cascading with flowers.
The Reception
The reception was also at the Herrington, which made it quite convenient for the guests. The food is delicious and it is delivered to each guest with white glove service- a nice touch! Our band, Red Wood, kept the dance floor packed all night!!

I didn’t have a vision for my wedding dress. My best friend and I decided to try looking when I was visiting her in North Carolina. In our usual fashion we were being ridiculously goofy at this fancy bridal salon, when we found the PERFECT dress! Naturally it was out of my budget, so I tried to put it out of my mind. But every dress I tried on I compared to that dress! Finally I brought my mom to the Vera Wang store in Chicago, and once I tried it on and saw her reaction, I knew I had to have this dress!!

This dress was one of the highlights of the wedding! I absolutely LOVE it!! Before the wedding I would look at pictures of the dress and it would immediately make me happy, and now I love all of our wedding photos. I want to share that happiness with another girl who may not be able to afford the dress!
