From the photographer:
This styled shoot was inspired by the intimate, weekend breakfasts I have with my husband. They are always relaxed, playful mornings spent hanging out and sharing good food. With that in mind, I imagined an informal shoot with a husband and wife enjoying each other’s company during a weekend hang. I love photographing the little details: the sunlight scattered across the breakfast table, the way a lover’s hair falls across their cheek. The images that get burned into your memory.
Photographing during the morning hours on a bright, sunny morning, Graydon Hall Manor was the perfect backdrop for this romantic shoot. The florals created a laid-back vibe with soft spring blooms amid accents of thick, dried foliage. The pampas grasses were fun to shoot, with loads of texture and interesting lines. The florals were enhanced with beautiful linens and handmade clay vases of various shapes and colours. Toping off the vibe were the fun, edgy, fashion picks. The natural, fresh makeup and hair look complimented the effortless feel of the shoot. The delicate tableware and silverware completed this vision of a romantic morning. Everything came together perfectly . I feel another weekend coming on of slowing down and spending time with the one I love!
