Urban with a touch of rustic is the best way to describe Adrienne and Ian’s downtown Portland wedding. The loft-like event space at The Ace Hotel served as location for the vows, with the wedding guests moving over to one of the bride and groom’s favorite restaurants for the reception. I love the additions of mason jars and long wooden table seating to the letterboard and marquee signage, which keeps the event earthy, yet whimsically modern.

The Ceremony
We had a sleek and clean autumn wedding location in The Cleaners, an event space located next in The Ace Hotel in Portland ,Oregon. We really wanted a white, simple look that brought in colors of the season. We included leaves and petals to soften the space.
The Reception
The reception was held at the adjoining restaurant, Clyde Common, which is one of our favorites. It featured craft cocktails and wines and beers from the Pacific Northwest.
Adrienne’s Dress Search
I wanted something simple, elegant and little different. This dress jumped out at me as having all of these qualities.

Why Adrienne Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
Weddings are expensive, we experienced this first hand. Trimming back to keep within a budget shouldn’t interfere with a dress selection. If a bride is able to wear my gown and save money in the process, it would truly make me happy.
