“Philip and Adele are tying the knot in Chicago this winter (Adele’s hometown), but they chose to do their engagement photos in the most meaningful spot where Philip spent his summers, Gibson Island. A dreamy escape nestled in between the hustle and bustle of DC and Baltimore, it was my first visit to Gibson Island and an absolutely unforgettable evening with this sweet couple! As soon as I met Adele and Philip, they kicked off their shoes and were game for anything, hopping on the island’s chartered sailboat and frolicking in the surf at the Point (where the two rivers united) at sunset- a perfectly symbolic way to capture their beautiful journey!”
