The thought and style behind Olga and Daniel’s wedding are stunning, with feminine details like fluffy peach florals and heart-filled decor. Sweeping views of Rome and classic marble architecture add to the the European romance of the venue. Olga made a gorgeous bride in her layered Vera Wang Katherine ballgown, which she paired perfectly with glitzy Jimmy Choos.

The Ceremony
We got engaged in November 2013 and in January 2014 decided to set the date. I spent hours researching various sources for a good date according to different calendars, including but not limited to Christian and moon calendars. Thats is how I arrived at 30th of May 2014. And then I wanted to find a location that would have nice weather at that time. Rome seemed the perfect choice. First I wanted ceremony in church, but after looking at many of them I didn’t really feel it was how I imagined it. Thats why I decided to make it more romantic and do an outside ceremony with an arch. Villa Miani had both the garden and terrace with exceptional views of Rome, so we chose the terrace. It was the perfect choice and we were very lucky with the weather (the forecast was for rain!) All the guests absolutely loved it.
The Reception
Our reception took place at the same venue, Villa Miani, which is one of the best wedding locations in Rome as they offer the villa exclusively for you, not like others, where you can only rent only part of it. It also has the best view of Rome and Vatican. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was top class, with Italian waiters that had proper old school manners and made you feel like you were at a ball in another century.
Olga’s Dress Search
I didn’t try that many dresses. I knew I wanted the best and in London it is the Vera Wang boutique and Browns Brides that have crème de la crème for brides like me. I wanted to buy a mermaid style and ended up with a ball gown. It was a difficult decision for me, but I just decided to choose a dress that not only looks nice on me, but also represents what I am and how I am.
How Olga Felt in Her Wedding Dress
Classy. Edgy. Breathtaking.
Why Olga Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I loved my day and I want someone else to enjoy the dress I worked so hard on. It will just hang in my closet and take lots of space, I just don’t see the point. I’d rather it bring joy to someone else!
