Wedding Photographer Opts For a Warm, Orange and Blue Engagement Shoot in the Arizona Desert

From Amanda, the bride:

“After being a wedding photographer for seven years, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t imagine a day when it would finally be my turn. However, weekend after weekend of photographing love stories throughout New England I dreamed less of the pretty little details and more about the man I would be marrying.

I met my college sweetheart, Cole, while studying at the University of Southern Maine. Cole is everything I have ever dreamed of in a man. He is patient, kind, loving, ridiculously handsome, and together we push each other to be the best possible versions of ourselves. We spent our first few years of dating traveling from basketball games to photographing weddings together and taking adventures both near and far.

With each year and life’s trials and triumphs, I grew more assured that he was the one.  He spontaneously proposed to me after a sunset portrait session in Bar Harbor, Maine. We took our first few months to soak up engaged life and are now planning a wedding for June 22, 2019, at Portside Manor in Searsport, Maine.

The number one question we get asked is what it’s like planning a wedding as a wedding photographer. One of the best things is that we have an incredible team of vendors and friends coming together to bring our vision to life. After photographing so many weddings and seeing so many trends, we really are aiming to create a wedding weekend experience that represents who we are as a couple! We can’t wait for June 22nd.”
