As kind of a continuation of last week’s posts, this week we’re talking about tinted wedding gowns. Here’s a little color theory lesson in case you weren’t an art major: there are lots of ways to talk about and describe colors and when we talk about pastel colors we’re technically talking about tints. When we add colors (technically hues) to white we get tints. Since we mostly use varieties of whites for wedding gowns, this week we wanted to look at the more colorful options available for brides. The first dress (top left) is by Claire LaFaye. The other dress (top right) is part of Vera Wang’s new (more affordable) line, White, and is only $1200.
