Tatiana + Valdrin | Lazaro Wedding from Niki Marie Photography
The glamour of an all-white wedding is undeniable, and in the case of Tatiana and Valdrin’s wedding, it pairs so well with the incredible ballroom setting. Champagne, white and other neutral tones combined with gold and silver which accentuated the luxe feel to this classic back tie affair. I love the elaborate beading and detailing in Tatiana’s Lazaro gown bodice — the perfect topper to an incredibly layered skirt!
Tatiana + Valdrin | September 29, 2013 | Rochelle, New York | Dress Listing: Lazaro 3100/306
The Ceremony Our ceremony was outside overlooking the water. It was a non-religious ceremony as Valdrin is an Albanian muslim and I am a Brazilian catholic. The location had a brand new metal gazebo that was all black and gold. Made it all look very exotic. I kept my flowers very soft, mixed of all white and off-white hydrangeas and roses.
The Reception What I loved the most about my reception location was the dramatic chandeliers inside the venue. I am not a fan of color so I kept everything very neutral. The flowers were all white and off white. Gold and silver accents and lots and lots of candles to make it very romantic.
Tatiana’s Dress Search I always thought I would do a mermaid dress especially since my now husband use to tell me “Please don’t wear those big princess dresses.” He wanted me in something sexy but still looking like a bride, so I thought a mermaid fit would be perfect. After I put a mermaid dress on it just did not do anything for my petite frame.
I fell in love with my dress because I felt like a bride and a princess but it was still sexy without showing too much. Not fitted like a mermaid, but not a dramatic princess ballgown. In the end my husband loved my dress so much and I felt amazing!
How Tatiana Felt in Her Wedding Dress Fairytale, dreaming, classy
Why Tatiana Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress I was completely against selling my dress as I wanted to save it so I can show my future daughter one day but after getting it cleaned and seeing it in a box it just made me feel sad. Once I received my pictures back from my photographer and my amazing video trailer I knew that my future daughter would still one day be able to relive the day without having to actual see my dress. Both our photographer and videographer were able to capture so much detail of my dress that there is absolutely no reason to keep my dress boxed up. I want to share it with another bride so she to can have the dress of her dreams. Hopefully whoever buys it will share pictures after the wedding with me!
