The ceremony
We wanted a really romantic simple wedding by the water and that’s what we got. We had 42 of our closest friends and family join us for a week in paradise. I’d recommend this to anyone because it turned into a group vacation where everyone got to know everyone and the memories were created week long instead of one fast evening.

The wedding was at 4:30 on the beach. I walked down the aisle to a Jamaican Steel Drum Band. Not what I originally pictured for my wedding day but it turned out perfectly.

The reception
We had a cocktail party in the main piano bar.. which was great until we looked outside and it was tropical storming rain outside… and.. our reception was about 100 yards away in the beach front open air restaurant… Luckily they got umbrellas and escorted each couple down to the reception then had 5 people help me… with 3 umbrellas covering me… it was hilarious but I made it to the reception basically with no trace of the rain storm… it was very funny at the time.

It was amazing and memorable.  We all had the times of our lives, parents out on the dance floor and all.

Then to top off the night, when everyone thought it was over.. we had a fire dancer/breather come and take us all down to the beach and perform… I would highly recommend this as it was very entertaining and shocking to say the least.

How Krysten felt in her wedding dress
When I found my dress I was at a small boutique in Columbus Ohio called Big Rock Little Rooster… I knew immediately… the simplicity of how beautiful it fell was ultra flattering… and the romantic lace with the sweetheart neckline put it over the top! I was so excited… In my dress I felt simply classic and beautiful all at the same time.

Why she is selling her wedding dress
I decided to sell my dress because I feel like we have to be realistic… I’m never going to wear it again.. It made my day so special by how I felt in it.. why would I lock that up in a garment bag… I had to take a deep breath and list it.

I think another excited part of this journey will be to hopefully see it on someone else who feel in love with it, and the genuine smile on their face from how fabulous they feel in it.
