Real Wedding | Jessica + Chad

Jessica and Chad’s California wedding was truly a storybook affair. Their ceremony and reception were held at a magical location, nestled in woods, complete with a hidden garden and quaint cottage. Hanging candles, green table accents, fabric lanterns and a fun photo booth were just some of the little details that made an amazing setting even more special. If you’ve been dreaming of a fairytale wedding, you’ll find endless inspiration here!

The ceremony

Our wedding location, Nestldown,  was a truly unique venue with lush landscapes and features. We were married under an arch of branches that were draped in hanging candles and flowers. After we exchanged vows Chad and I walked up the dirt steps and we turned onto a hidden pathway. On the pathway tucked behind the trees was a bench that had two plates of appetizers and two glasses of champagne waiting for us. Chad and I sat on the bench enjoying our champagne and appetizers as the wedding guests made their way up to the cocktail hour. This moment to ourselves was something I will never forget.

The reception

We had the dinner portion of the reception in an open field surrounded by a small lake and a plethora of flowers. We chose natural features for out table settings, which included wooden vases and lots of green accents. At each place setting were monogrammed champagne glasses with our wedding date on them. The guests took the champagne glasses home as favors after using them for the wedding toast. We served a simple down to earth, homey barbeque dinner. After dinner, guests were escorted into the barn where the dancing took place.

Why Jessica decided to sell her wedding dress

I want to sell my wedding dress because I want someone else to be able to enjoy my dress as much as I did at a more affordable price. I don’t want my dress to be stuck in a closet for years collecting dust.
