Every part of the wedding had its own beauty, and I loved being able to design most of it myself. It helped us to completely pour ourselves into it. The night before, my closest friend and I prepared the florals, and I arranged my bridal bouquet, trying hard to remember all the Sarah Windward videos I watched (from If I Made!). Our favorite moment, besides the very personal and moving ceremony, was the closure of the wedding day. We gathered outside around the bonfire where all our friends and family sang a surprise song for us, and each and every guest told us what they love and appreciate about us. You could feel the closeness and it was wonderful having everyone around us cheering and celebrating our love. Choosing to invite only the people closest to us was a tough decision, but by far the most rewarding one as it created the most intimate and genuine atmosphere.

Kim and Benji made their vows to each other on a quiet island in Switzerland with only their most intimate friends and family from around the world. Kim and Benji met when they were children, and it shows, every knowing touch carrying the weight of their years together. They wanted to make their wedding completely their own by arranging their day as an experience unique to them. The day after the wedding, we all enjoyed a relaxed brunch in the sun and a walk through the woods encircling the island. Undoubtedly, Kim and Benji’s wedding was an unforgettable experience and truly a perfect weekend!
