They always say love finds you when you stop looking for it….and when Gia and Jeremy finally found theirs, they celebrated it with a beautiful wedding and fabulous style.  Congratulations to this lovely couple!

How they met
The night before we met, I told my best friend it was probably time to just settle.   I would like to think I had a PHD in dating and Jeremy was divorced a year earlier.  I never believed in love at first site but the night we met I knew I had met the man I was going to marry.  We had both been on match.com for a year or so and apparently he had emailed me months before, but a week earlier, I had seen this preppy looking guy and we set up a date.

A drink lead to dinner that lead to dessert that lead to a walk around the Charles until early hours of the morning.  I had always been attracted to tall dark and handsome men and this one was a red head!  We never spent a dinner apart (aside from business travel) since that night.  I had another date to go to the Patriots game that Sunday and I canceled.  That Sunday he met my big and wonderful Italian family and the fairytale continued.

The ceremony
A perfect Sunny day in August , a priest who added just the right personal touch  and more love than one can imagine. Of course, things went wrong, Jeremy did not get picked up by the limo driver and drove himself to the church but none of that mattered.  We wrote our vows and there was not a dry eye in the church.

The moment Gia will never forget
Saying our vows to each other.  I thought I would be nervous standing in front of 200 people but it was a magical moment in time I will never forget.

The reception
As guests arrived, their place setting was a wine bottle with our family wine wrapped in a personal label with a message and image of Jeremy and I.  The food was a perfect 10, the drinks flowed, and the dancing continued past the 10:30 shut down time.  My first dance with my dad was perfect with a combination of swing, meringue, and waltz.

What made her wedding dress “The One”
I had not tried on any when I found this one in a magazine,  After going to NY and finding out it was out of my budget range, I tried on 5 at Vera Wang and 10 at Vows in Newton MA.  There is nothing ugly about a wedding dress.  They were all beautiful.  I could not get this one out of my mind and used my hard earned bonus check (2 years of weekly California travel) on my dress.

Why she decided to sell her wedding dress?
It’s a stunning dress.  There is no other dress like it.  It should be worn and not in a box.
