Sun-kissed at sunset, Kim + Drew’s destination wedding in Guanacaste, Costa Rica was a beachy affair for 30 of their closest friends and family. I love the grey sand beach and mountain view where today’s featured couple tied the knot…and very cute that the ceremony was ‘shoes optional’. Drew’s linen look pairs perfectly next to Kim’s Tara Keely ivory lace trumpet gown. I’m especially loving this dress’ strapless sweetheart corset bodice with scalloped neckline – the exposed boning and silk organza floral belt are such a feminine focal point. Enjoy!

The Ceremony
The ceremony took place right before sunset on the beach at the resort. It was absolutely perfect and the sun began to set just as the ceremony was over. My sisters were the bridesmaids and Drew’s brother and Dad were his groomsmen. The bridesmaids wore blue tropical colored dress from Dessy.com and the groomsmen were decked out in a white linen Tommy Bahama button down with khaki linen Calvin Klein pants. It was the perfect setting to the perfect beginning of our lives together.
The Reception
The reception was small and quaint with about 30 of our closest friends and family. It took place under the pavilion at the resort overlooking the mountainous views of Costa Rica.

I tried on around 10 dresses total and didn’t even pick out THE dress myself. The owner of the bridal boutique brought it to me and asked me to try it on because she thought it would be flattering with my body type. Then I fell in LOVE and knew it was the dress.
