Our wedding was a true elopement. Only our officiant and photographer (and her assistant) were in attendance. We were married in the spectacular halls of the Palais-Royal. It was an intimate and surreal experience. After our ceremony, we wandered Paris like tourists, enjoying the day and taking photos. The photos are spectacular and unique. Once we decided to elope to Paris, the wedding itself came together so quickly. It was a challenge to plan a wedding from a world away with no in person meetings or dry runs, but it was so much fun.
Our wedding was different and is a viable alternative for brides who don’t want a traditional wedding, but don’t want to do a destination wedding and favor intimacy over a large event. Our wedding had all the style (and more) of a traditional wedding. It was classic, modern and unique at the same time. My husband and I wanted a memorable and different way to get married and I think we achieved that!

I knew I wanted a Berta dress, so I only had to try on two! The dress I chose fit me and my style better than I could have imagined. It was like trying on Cinderella’s slipper. By the time the zipper was completely done up, I was sold on the dress. My dress is fashion forward, sexy and different. It is a dress meant to go to Paris! This dress has gotten so many comments and attention, including many saying it is the most beautiful wedding dress they have ever seen! I tend to agree.

I have decided to sell the dress because it makes me sad to think it will have to sit in my closet for the rest of its days. This dress is an attention-getter and it deserves to be in the spotlight again! I hope it makes another bride as happy as it made me.
