Real Wedding | Clionadh + Jon

This Irish wedding was full of delicate touches and sentimental favorites. Clionadh and Jon were married in the gorgeous location where they first met…at a friend’s wedding. I love the beautiful flowers, the bold colors in just the right places (don’t miss the brides maids dresses) and their favorite four-legged friend at the reception. Simply charming!

The ceremony

The ceremony took place in a lovely church called St Joseph’s in Letterfrack. As the ceremony was in Lent, we kept the church decorations quite simple and lined the aisle with miniature white lanterns hung with organza. We also placed votive candles in different shades of violet, pink & lilac along the windowsills of the church.

The reception

We held the reception in Renvyle House Hotel in Connemara. Its a hotel right on the edge of the Atlantic that’s surrounded by beautiful mountains and bogs. This is the location of our first meeting, so it felt so magical to us.

How Clionadh felt in her wedding dress

Elegant, beautiful and graceful.

Why Clionadh decided to sell her wedding dress

I’m selling my dress because I really do honestly feel that it would be a waste of the workmanship and skills that went into creating such a beautiful dress to have it sitting in a wardrobe for the next 30 years.
