I have the most beautiful two year old daughter. She is sweet, smart, fearless and fun-loving. I adore everything about her and still can’t believe I get to be the one to watch and help her grow.
I know that one day she’ll get married. And I know that her wedding will be such a meaningful moment in my life because it will be the day she starts on the road to having her own family.
I’ve been a bridesmaid 14 times, but only remember one bridesmaid luncheon – my friend Patty’s. She hosted her bridesmaids at a luncheon honoring us, but also honoring mothers and daughters.
It was such a special way to honor her own mother during her wedding weekend and one that, as a mother myself, I can truly now appreciate.
