Goat Cheese Radish Tartine with Micro Greens

When you’re working with so many lovely products, you want to do everything you can to display them in all of their natural beauty! Zola’s registry is full of unique kitchen and serving ware pieces that you can stock your home with to create a warm kitchen filled with modern touches, and that will act as the perfect canvas on which to serve beautiful dishes.

We chose to display Zola’s Billy Cotton Serving dish by showing off these absolutely stunning watermelon radishes that Katelyn Hardwick used to cook up the most delicious recipe for Goat Cheese Radish Tartine with Micro Greens. We think these little treats would be the perfect appetizer for your wedding if you’re looking for beautiful food to serve your guests, or you could whip these up for friends and family when they come over to your newly furnished house! After the honeymoon, take your dream home to the next level by filling it with beautiful food, wine, and friends.

Here’s a little recipe from Katelyn to help you get started!

INGREDIENTS

1 loaf of rustic country bread, diagonally sliced into ½-inch-thick slices

2 tablespoon olive oil, plus more for drizzling

1 ½ cups thinly sliced radishes (daikon, watermelon, or whatever is in season)

4 ounces soft fresh goat cheese, room temperature

Fresh micro greens

Coarse sea salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Heat a cast-iron grill pan. Brush the bread with 2 tablespoons of the olive oil and grill over high heat, turning once, until toasted.  Top the toasts with the goat cheese, radishes, and micro greens,  Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve!
