We always love sharing beautiful floral design with you, and today is no exception. These beautiful images are from a floral workshop that took place in the beautiful English countryside.
From The Garden Gate Flower Company:
We were so delighted when Sarah Winward agreed to collaborate with us, and last June we welcomed her to Cornwall and our cutting garden. Sarah is well known for her love of wild plants and foraged materials and so we set off on a foxglove hunt and had the best time. The photographs capture so well Sarah’s energy and love of flowers in their natural environment.
Our workshop was held on a beautiful farm in Cornwall with log fires, ancient oaks, home-cooked food and newborn lambs for company. Here in our studio space (the old piggery) it was a real team effort recreating this vibe with Sarah and our students as we installed rambling roses, arching beach branches and foxglove spires that echoes the landscape so well. Students made bridal bouquets, large urns and table centres in her signature wild and loose style that so compliments our flowers and the time of year. Participants came from all over the world stayed in accommodation on the farm in cosy cottages, and had the opportunity to walk along the green lanes and open fields around the farm, gathering wild grasses and inspiration alike. We hope you enjoy viewing the results!
