Food, friends and family are amongst my favoritest things, and I prefer to enjoy them together. I’d put most of my budget towards a hearty meal of slow roasted beef infused with rosemary and garlic, served with loads of roasted veggies, fresh bread and red wine. Warm cocktails like mulled wine and hot chocolate would be served at cocktail hour, and warm cookies with ice-cold milk are served later in the evening. The cake would be rich and decadent, a spin off of Molly’s Winning Hearts and Minds cake, a favorite of mine.
