I am loving the energy, emotion and explosion of colors at Apollina and Brad’s destination wedding in Mexico! The tropical feeling extends to the floral arrangements, bridal party outfits and even the late night pool party. Add in windswept palm trees, traditional architecture and romantic outdoor dining for the perfect ceremony and reception. Such a stunning spot for a wedding — Todos Santos is definitely a spot to add to the must travel list!

The Ceremony
We love Mexico and we found a gorgeous location for our wedding, Hacienda Cerritos, in Todos Santos, Mexico. All of our friends and family stayed there for the week so it was one non-stop party. Our wedding was in the romantic courtyard, in front of the fountain.
The Reception
Our reception was also at the Hacienda, out by the pool. We had amazing food provided by renowned caterers in Cabo, Lazy Gourmet. Our planning company, Sunset Weddings, provided everything, including the flowers and the cake. Our photographers, Ben and Erin Chrisman of Chrisman Studios, were nothing short of amazing! Not only incredibly talented but also the kindest, most sincere people you will ever meet and we are in LOVE with our photos. Erin’s brother Michael Reed of Michael Reed Films, was our videographer and our video is something we absolutely cherish.
Apollina’s Dress Search
One of the craziest things about the wedding was how I came to wear my dress, a lovely Romona Keveza I purchased from Riziks in Washington, D.C. I actually planned on designing my dress and having it made. When the seamstress I hired finally showed me the progress pictures of my dress (two months late and two weeks before my wedding!) I realized there was no way I could wear this dress, as it didn’t fit my vision at all.
That same afternoon, I made an appointment to try on a dress (for the first time!) and the next day, I was twirling around in my wedding dress — it was perfect. It was different from what I planned on wearing but it was perfect nonetheless. Embellished, feminine, flirty, mermaid shape, blush color… I loved it. So we put a rush on the alterations and it was delivered the day before we left for Mexico!
