A Winter Celebration Of A Relationship Part II

If you joined us this morning you saw Part I of this heartwarming winter shoot. Here we are sharing the ceremony and reception for two!

From event designer, Frannie:
For our ceremony inspiration, Chuck and Shannon took a snow mobile to an altitude of 12,000 feet at the Telluride Ski Resort –  the top of the epic ‘See Forever’ ski run. Expansive views all the way to Utah made quite a statement as a backdrop. Icy botanical sculptures were created to anchor the ceremony site.

Afterwards, our couple took a gondola to Allred’s restaurant, where they dined by the fire in a private room. The perfect touch after a day on the slopes! The focus of the decor was the trio of arrangements. Tulip magnolia, ranunculus, and French tulips began on the floor and bridged to the mantle, climbing upward to connect to a botanical canopy, which created a snow-like landscape overhead. Hyacinth bulbs were added to the installation as a nod to spring for a sculptural organic element. The tabletop was set with Arte Italica pewter chargers, Nikko Ceramics and Dibbern dinnerware from Barneys to evoke a wintry feel. New Leaf Design imagined custom runners and napkins to mimic the Nikko Ceramic Kira plate. Candlesticks with oversized handles recalled the past, while the strong clean lines were a perfect complement to the bare winter landscape.
