Outdoor weddings seem to have the most lovely, whimsical nature to them, and when a wedding is hosted at a vineyard, the chances that it’s going to be a gorgeous event are pretty good. It’s no surprise that Anna and Daniel fell in love with Rancho Victoria Vineyards in North California, and selected a broad pastel palette, inspired by the sky after a thunderstorm. The bridesmaids donned mismatched BHLDN gowns in a mix of soft blues, greys, mauves, and pale pinks, while waving stems of larkspur and delphinium lined the aisle. The outdoor reception was just as lovely, with wood accents grounding the space.

“Anna and Daniel fell in love in Northern California, and they knew right away that they wanted to host their wedding in the area. The color palette was inspired by the sky after a thunderstorm – soft blues and grays with gentle purples and pinks. Coincidentally, there was a thunderstorm at the venue the previous day, creating the perfect backdrop for the wedding festivities. Surrounded by their family and close friends, they tearfully exchanged vows in an open field beneath a large oak tree. A lively dinner was held al fresco on the lawn of the venue’s cottage where long family-style tables were adorned with lush arrangements and an abundance of candlelight. The wedding felt like a true celebration – timeless and intimate at the same time.”
