Wed in Modern Elegance at Lush Countryside Vineyard

From Carmen Arnott, the floral designer:

“After attending the Sinclair and Moore event design workshop last year, I had been dreaming up an editorial shoot that would capture those special moments leading up to the ceremony.

Inspired by the sun-drenched French countryside, forgotten courtyards, and overgrown manors my goal was to capture an elegantly modern look and feel through the flowers, table setting, and styling. After pouring over pictures of terraced gardens, courtyards, and patios, I decided to create three centerpieces that featured potted arrangements of petunias in bright lime and raspberry shades with little petite grasses planted into vintage bar glasses. I loved how easy it was to create an elegant DIY that any bride or groom could create!

For our photo shoot, I envisioned a narrative that captured our bride coming into her own. Our story begins with our bride reflecting on life, first loves, and the future. I envisioned beautiful music surrounding our bride as she poses for her bridal portraits and effortlessly moves throughout the early evening before seeing her beloved. She stops to pause in memory of her childhood running through the gardens full of hydrangeas and lavender. She sees her future before her and while she longs for her love, she knows in time it will be her running through the fields once more. Beautiful and free.”
