From Studio Mondine:
There is a hushed elegance about winter. The season speaks of simplicity and of comfort, and serves as an invitation to be present. Our team imagined a quiet winter wedding that felt relaxed yet elegant, and truly gave a sense of place and time. To keep the look modern and minimal, we chose a pared back gown, kept makeup focused on perfect, dewy skin and a strong brow, and hair unfussy and relaxed. Shearling mules are an unexpected, playful touch for our winter bride.

We set the table with dusty rose heirloom plates and faded pecan linens for the table. An arrangement of dried lunaria, dried daucus, and fuzzy flannel flowers spills out of a simple bisque bowl. A blind embossed paper suite on thick, milky white paper echoes the clean lines of the bowl.

Our bride carried a delicate yet wild bouquet of dried lunaria, dried daucus, and flannel flowers. The stems are loosely wrapped with a bit of hand-dyed silk ribbon in a warm, honeyed taupe hue. The bouquet negotiates a balance between the crisp, cool-toned jade centers of the flannel flowers, and the warm tones of the dried elements. Relying on dried, foraged, or windfall ingredients highlights the simple and sculptural quality of winter flora. An arrangement made entirely of windfall ingredients gathered on a morning neighborhood walk adorns the fireplace mantle. Dried daucus dances out of a  taper holder, repurposed with a floral frog as an unusual vessel for flowers.

To us, these considered details and quiet vignettes build up to a winter celebration that feels elegant, minimal, and relaxed.
