The tradition of bridal portraits is a wonderful one, but if you’re not a traditional kind of girl, why not modernize it? Suit your portraits to your style and your tastes, like this modern, tropical bridal session. How perfect would this be for a destination bride?
More from the event designer, Once Wed vendor A + B Creative:
“Whatever you do for your wedding, it should be about you. Trying to make yourself a neutral lover if you dream in technicolor will leave you with images that you don’t feel look or feel like you. If your favorite color is all of them, why not highlight those in your boudoir session or pre-wedding photos? Whether your wedding is going to be in the tropics, or it’s going to be in a snowy local and you want these portraits to be the furthest from what your wedding portraits with your fiance will look like, they’re the perfect backdrop to a colorful play with shapes and colors. With both vintage and new pieces we created inspiration for the bride that lives colorfully. I was inspired by images from the 60s and 70s that were steeped in color and had a playful usage of fun tropical pieces. I love that these portraits have so many things going on in terms of the various colors, but all take place mostly in just one location. Looking at these images, I want to go hang out with this bride, she seems like she would be a blast!”
