There is so much we love about this Quebec wedding that it’s hard to narrow it down! The groom made the wedding arch himself (love), bridesmaids and a bridesman (oh wow, do we love), the fact that Thy-Line is selling her wedding dress because she wants it put to better use than just storage (love and agree!)
This pretty wedding will leaving you smiling and inspired. And probably loving more than a few details too!
Thy–Line + Josh | June 17th, 2017 | Saint-Basile-le-Grand , Quebec
The Ceremony
Outdoors in the vineyard, with a simple wooden arch Josh built himself, adorned with flowers (our florist was a family friend) and a macramé hanging. It was non-religious and we had technically already signed the papers at the courthouse, therefore it was hosted by josh’s father who spoke about the traditions of marriage in both families.
The Reception
Under a big white tent with chandeliers, we had 25 round tables with crisp white linen, wooden chairs, and a bright floral arrangement in a gold compote vase. Our sweetheart table was bohemian chic with peacock chairs, a greenery garland, vintage glassware. We had a dragon, a band and a DJ for entertainment.
Thy-Line’s Wedding Dress Search
I tried on 5 dresses. I choose my dress because it was so airy and light. The lace and tulle made it so whimsical and romantic. The little spaghetti straps ensured I wouldn’t have to pull my dress up every now and then (vs a strapless dress!)

Why She’s Selling Her Wedding Dress
Unfortunately, I moved into an apartment with limited space, and the dress is hanging in a closet at my parents’ house. It should be put to better use.
