Shooting this editorial at this beautiful venue in Provence was a dream. I was seduced and instantly inspired by it’s European charm. The venue itself explains the inspiration for the direction of the shoot design. All the details of this Provencal villa aligned well – from the dress choice to the table styling. The heart fluttering flower arch, with white and blush flowers, reminded me of a French fairy tale that involved a princess. The table centerpieces, with a hint of deep colored flowers, captured my heart right away and paired gorgeously with the antique plates.
Our beautiful model was styled with pretty and effortless makeup and hair, to portray the French Provencal style. Shooting her natural beauty in this beautiful gown was such an inspiring experience. As a photographer, I have a deep love for golden and soft light for refined imagery; so capturing the soft light coming into the villa and lighting up her dress was heaven.
