When wedding professionals work with brides and grooms, they are inspired by their stories. These stories help them guide their clients towards their vision. When these same professionals do an editorial shoot, there is not a client to guide the story. This means their imaginations can run free – often with wonderful and inspiring results! In our story, our bride who was from California and our groom, who was from England met while she was studying abroad. They wanted to combine the tradition and sophistication of an English wedding with the laid-back nature of a celebration in California’s wine country. Kestrel Park, with its lush trees and large gardens, proved to be the perfect destination for their intimate wedding with only close friends.
The floral arrangements were full of roses, blueberries, dogwood and peonies to mirror the beautiful gardens at the venue. These lush and fragrant blooms were also a nod to the groom’s home town in the English countryside. The reception table was set in Kestrel Park’s “Sycamore Lane” and was decorated with garden floral arrangements, candles, and menus with the bride & groom’s custom crest. The china was the groom’s parents, and the bride chose her favorite wines to accompany the three-course meal. Every detail was beautifully curated and intentionally thought out to represent the style and character of our bride and groom!
