Everyone loves to see pretty pictures from weddings that are loaded with gorgeous details, inspiration, and eye candy. But even more than that, we at Once Wed love to see and share images that capture the emotion and soul of a wedding day – that sweet almost-first-look, the way the groom reacts when he sees his bride walking toward him, the traditions that are included throughout their celebration, the unbridled love that family and friends share for the couple. And today, we get to share all of that and more with you, through Maegan and Jared’s wedding in Texas.
The couple hired a dynamite team of wedding professionals to assist them in creating their day – Mayhar Designs and Bows & Arrows Flowers perfectly executed the bride’s vision. She wanted community blended with loving shades of blue and lavender and an environment that embraced each and every guest with love and welcoming arms. And, in hopes of honoring Jared’s one wish, it was imperative to have a food truck or two.

“The ceremony was so sweet and so profound. From the moment I came around the corner and saw Jared’ s teary face for the first time, then hugging my dad after he gave me away, there was just such a joyous peace and thankfulness that stayed throughout the whole day. The sound of the music being played under the trees rustling in the soft breeze– it felt like our own little corner of the world stood still and joined in the moment. Exchanging personal vows was so meaningful, and I pray I’ll always remember the look in Jared’ s eyes as vividly as I do now.”
