The Ceremony
The ceremony took place at Beaulieu Garden. Alex grew up Catholic and I grew up Jewish so our ceremony was a blend of the two traditions. In place of the Jewish custom of “Seven Blessings” we did “Seven Interfaith Readings”, each one read by someone who is special to us.
The Reception
The reception was also at Beaulieu Garden. The dinner took place under stunning arbor lit up with market lights. The food was inspired by local California cuisine.

I tried on around 30 dresses. I have always loved Monique Lhuillier and I thought I had decided on the Severine dress. When I went to buy it, I decided to try on the Chantal and immediately knew it was the one. I loved the lace and the softness of the tulle — one of Monique’s specialties. It just felt right!
