What a pretty fall farm wedding from Wells, Maine complete with sweet DIY’s, pennants and pie! Stacey looks lovely in her Jenny Packham v-neck beaded gown, Eden. The details of this dress exude femininity at it’s finest…a statement style that reflects grace, elegance and compliments soft shoulders and the fineness of a woman’s collarbone. Sigh. And how about Stacey’s beautiful braided up-do? Not only does the bride’s hair style perfectly echo the intricacy of her gown, it totally fits for their charming farm atmosphere. Enjoy!

The Ceremony
We were married at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm in Wells, Maine. Jay and I have been going to Wells for summer vacations for many years and we didn’t even know this spot existed. I found it when I was searching for a barn site, and it was absolutely perfect. The ceremony was on-site, outside on the grounds of the farm. Officiated by the groom’s family friend who is a minister. The weather held up – it could have been snowing in October…
The Reception
BARN WEDDING RECEPTION! Dinner and dancing were held inside the beautiful barn. I hand-made most of the décor items – table runners, mason jars, signs, seating chart, etc. And I had a BLAST doing it! Our DJ was our friend and Jay’s co-worker who loves music just as much (maybe more?!) than we do.
Stacey’s Dress Search
I was actually looking at Jenny Packham’s Aspen dress and was planning to buy it used. But when I went to the bridal store and tried on JP’s Eden with my sisters and mother there, I had to have it.
