Today’s featured wedding is a very special and intimate celebration for Spring + Jason, a renewal of vows in honor of the couple’s 15-year wedding anniversary. So good! It’s especially neat that Spring was able to finally wear the style of dress she had dreamed of wearing when she and Jason originally tied the knot at the age of 23. Spring explains, “If there had been anything like PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com when I got married in 1998 I would have been able to afford my dream dress the first time around. By selling my dress now I feel like I’m paying that opportunity forward.” Enjoy!

The Ceremony
This was our 15-year wedding anniversary and the ceremony was a vow renewal. It was at Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm. We wrote our own renewal vows and conducted the ceremony ourselves in front of eight of our dearest friends and family. The ceremony was in the gardens of a local historic Inn. My husband and I wrote our vows separately but found out when we shared our vows at the ceremony that we are grateful for a lot of the same things.
The Reception
We had an intimate brunch on the day of the vow renewal and a big anniversary party the following Saturday. The anniversary party had a lot of vintage touches; a cake table with five cakes topped with vintage bride and groom toppers, vintage handkerchief banners, and printed linens from the 50’s. We ate barbecue and drank white peach sangria, it was informal but most of us were dressed in our cutest vintage duds!
Spring’s Dress Search
I started out looking for the type of ball gown that I couldn’t afford when my husband and I got married at 23. I love the dress that I wore for our vow renewal and it was exactly what I was looking for!

Why Spring Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I want someone else to be able to feel as special on her day as I did on mine. If there had been anything like PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com when I got married in 1998 I would have been able to afford my dream dress the first time around. By selling my dress now I feel like I’m paying that opportunity forward.
