I was so excited when Angela Proffitt from Elegant Weddings by Angela sent us this delightful Nashville wedding. Only in the place that is the heart of country music could a girl have this Southern infused wedding.
The day started with the ceremony at the Woodmont Christian Church with the bride wearing a stunning lace Jim Hjelm gown.
After the ceremony, guests were transported to the Country Music Hall of Fame and the reception held in the Rotunda. “The Circle Will Be Unbroken” is part of the Rotunda usual decor – could their be a more perfect setting to celebrate a new marriage? And I’m loving the simple chic decor created to complement the room.
And just a few of the Southern details… a Southern comfort menu that included grits and fried chicken, cowboy boots on the bride, Lynchburg Lemonade to drink, a surprise clogging performance, and personalized cowbells as favors. It is enough to make you want to stand and sing “Song of the South’ – which, fittingly was the band’s last song of the night!
