Marissa and Stephen are high school sweethearts, and they chose a snowy November day in Pittsburgh for their winter engagement session with Meaghan Elliott Photography! When they first met in high school, they were shy but eventually started talking… and then Stephen invited Marissa to a Pirates game. He introduced her as his girlfriend (even though they hadn’t officially talked about it), and he asked her if it was okay. She blushed, smiled and nodded in agreement, and the rest is history!

Stephen gives me butterflies. He is down-to-earth, loving, and brings out the best in me. His smile is infectious and his laugh makes me laugh every single time. No. Matter. What. He has an adoration for things that he believes are important, and always, always, ALWAYS gives 110% to everything he does. I love that I feel safe with Stephen, and when I’m not with him, I wonder what he’s up to… and I smile because I know he’s thinking the same thing.
When I’m with him I can be myself, and I love that he feels the same way. We are goofy and real around each other, and I couldn’t ask for a better best friend and life partner. – Marissa
