Simplistic Springtime Wedding Inspiration at Sunrise

We’re enamored with the sweet, simplistic ideas in this springtime wedding editorial. It’s full of inspiration for brides-to-be, from the lovely idea of a sunrise ceremony to the fragrant hyacinth bouquet, the delicately feminine bridal gown from Alexandra Grecco and the crisp color palette, which is still delightfully girly.

Read on for more from the event designer and florist, Kae and Ales:
“Inspired by the not-quite-winter, not-quite-spring mood, we set out to create a shoot that embodies the sudden burst of sunshine that awakens us from a wintry haze. We imagined a morning wedding for our sweet bride, complete with delicate colors and a bright, airy venue.

We kept the color palette soft and feminine with light pinks, creamy ivories, and tiny hints of rose gold in the bride’s accessories. A beautifully embroidered tablecloth was the perfect backdrop for our clean and elegant tableware, while the cement vessels complimented the delicate and textural florals on the tablescape. We used generous amounts of blossoming rose, ranunculus, orchid, hyacinth, and pieris for the arrangements and opted for a simple hyacinth bouquet tied together with a gentle blush silk ribbon for the bride. Small bundles of pieris along with paper whites and spray roses made for perfect boutonnieres. Alexandra Grecco loaned us a few stunning gowns from her newest collection and they blended in seamlessly with our vision. We loved the graceful movement in the tulle and the elegant, yet feminine silhouettes. There is a real effortlessness in the dresses that we really couldn’t get enough of.”
