Savannah Style

Elegance, style and grace are the three elements that Tricia of Tricia Huddas & Co Weddings and Events likes to bring together in the weddings that she plans for her brides.

Looking at the pictures of the amazing wedding she shared with us, you really can feel the elegance of the evening.  But what I also like, is that you can really feel the bride and the groom personal style emanating through the event.  Here’s what Tricia had to say about their wedding:

“Molly and Bill were married at the Mansion on Forsyth Park in historic Savannah Georgia last spring. It was a beautiful day for this elegant affair that Molly took two years to plan.

Every single detail had meaning to the couple from the boutonnières that were hand made by a friend of the groom, to the Georgia peach accents to the white, ivory and gold décor planned with Garden on the Square florist. Molly thought through every detail of the event to ensure that her 150 guests truly enjoyed themselves and that they felt Bill and Molly in the details. Molly walked down the aisle to a little more untraditional song of Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love”, and the couple arranged for a supersize gospel choir to sing Stevie Wonders hit, “Signed, Sealed and Delivered” down the aisle.

The bride wore a stunning Monique Lhuillier wedding dress accented by Badgley Mischka earrings. Her bridesmaids wore stunning gold Pricilla of Boston dresses that you really could wear again!

Rather then a wedding cake, the couple served Red Velvet Cupcakes and as a late night snack to keep the celebration going, sweet potato fries were served.

Photographer, Tim Willoughby, of TimWill Photography, set-up a photo booth to capture the guests truly enjoying the evening.

It is a hard wedding to beat with the simple and elegant touches that were all so carefully thought out by the couple. It truly was the wedding of her dreams.”
