Sandra + Joshua’s destination wedding is so beautiful! Sandra’s gorgeous ball gown, Hayley Paige Guindon, with flowing layers of stripped organza is such a unique and playful choice. I love how the stripped pattern in today’s featured dress pairs perfectly with the couple’s nautical themed wedding elements like gold chiavari chairs, crisp white paper lanterns, pretty navy blue floor length bridesmaids gowns and eye catching blue and white stripped table runners. Perfect!

The Ceremony
The ceremony was on the beach and it was absolutely beautiful with perfect weather for the day.
The Reception
The reception took place at Wicky’s Beach Club, it was outdoors on the patio deck overlooking the ocean. It was beautiful and refreshing as we had the ocean breeze to cool us down while we were dancing all night.
Sandra’s Dress Search
The Guindon gown caught my attention the moment I saw it in a bridal magazine, but I wasn’t sure I would find it in Denver. It turned out to be the first dress I tried on! I’m not a very emotional girl and I thought the whole crying thing was sissy stuff…until I tried on the Guindon gown! It was instant tears! It is an absolutely gorgeous dress. The layers flow perfectly and it is lightweight. This dress is great for a girl that is caught between traditional and modern styles. The stripped organza fabric is mesmerizing. I wish I could wear this dress over and over again! Even when I look at other dresses I still think mine is the best and I am still absolutely in love with it. I tried on about 30 dresses after the Guindon and just could not find a contender. I even waited a month for its sister dress, Keaton, to be available and I still could only see myself wearing the Guindon – it’s a true gem.

Why Sandra Decided to Sell Her Wedding Dress
I’ve had experience of keeping a dress and seeing the bag collect dust. After my Quinciañera I thought, I’ll keep the dress forever, and maybe someone (future daughter) will wear it again. It was a decision based on my emotions. However, after seeing many friends get married and many dresses go to storage including my Quince dress, I didn’t want the same fate for my Guindon gown. I would love for it to be enjoyed as much as possible. It is a beautiful dress that should be worn again and again!
