It is a rare occasion when we meet a couple who, despite their laid back attitude, know exactly what they want and more importantly what they don’t want. When we met Sigrun and Jure we knew that they had a vision in their minds of how they wanted to look back on their day. Being a graphic designer, Jure went to great lengths to create the details needed to meet their shared vision.
The wedding was held during autumn in Bowral, located in the Southern highlands of NSW and is a popular location for destination weddings. When we arrived at the wedding venue on the day we had seen that Sigrun and Jure had done their part. And they did it damn well. Everything was perfect. Including the weather. A giant stack of cheese wheels from around the world took the place of a traditional wedding cake. The flowers complimented the perfectly groomed gardens in which the ceremony was held and Sigrun wedding dress left us speechless!
When everything is set up so immaculately, the pressure to simply do it justice intensifies. The day carried on, the sun dipped lower. When late afternoon hit, we knew we had to take full advantage of the light that was left. This was our chance to fulfill their vision, and we knew we didn’t have long. In fact we had no more than 15 minutes of natural sunlight. Those final 15 minutes topped of the day. Perfect Autumn light, perfect setting and lovely people to be sharing such an amazing day with.

***Wedding Dress: Ladies, it appears the bride’s wedding dress was custom. Unfortunately, I do not know where she had the dress made. Sorry I couldn’t be more help with this. ***
