Talia and Aaron’s wedding was Southern California perfection. Married under clear blue skies, surrounded by friends and family, they kept their wedding personal and intimate. Oh, by the way, I love how much Talia loved her wedding dress. And for good reason too…the stunning strapless Monique Lhuillier gown was simple and chic. Congratulations to this stylish and elegant couple.

How they met
Aaron and I met at a holiday party. I walked in, spotted him, and demanded to meet him. We hit it off and dated for about 2 years before we got engaged!
The ceremony
Our ceremony was amazing. It was outside and we arranged the seats in a circle so that everyone could be around us. It felt intimate and I really enjoyed that.
The reception
The reception was inside of the big Loggia Ballroom and was so much fun! We hired an awesome band from LA and Aaron and I danced all night!
Splurges & Savings
We splurged on the band and flowers. In the end they were both definitely worth it. I felt I saved on my wedding dress. I secretly wanted one of the giant $10,000 gowns but I knew that I would regret it. I was sooooo happy with the dress that I wore. I felt beautiful and it was so light that I was able to run around and enjoy myself all night.
How she knew her wedding dress was “The One
I really tried on a million dresses. I mean a million. None of them looked right. Then I was at Monique Lhuillier in Los Angeles on Melrose and the girl that was helping me said “trust me and try this one on.” I did and absolutely fell in love!! The fabric was amazing (almost like a light linen) and the dress was so classy and feminine. That was it. I was in heaven. For the next 6 months I think I went to try my dress on 20 times. I would make up excuses to go put it on. I needed to see it with my earrings or my shoes and I wanted to show my friend Tracy or Val. The women at the store were so patient with me! 🙂
Why she decided to sell her wedding dress
The truth is, I have decided to sell my dress because I don’t know what else to do with it. I would love for someone else to wear it and enjoy it as much as I did! That would be so great.
