This sophisticated Florida wedding features a gorgeous coral color scheme and an intimate ocean side setting. Don’t miss the amazing and unique centerpiece design or the delectable wedding cake adorned with loads of fresh flowers. Sara’s dress was in perfect keeping with the whole affair…elegant and chic, with a plunging neckline and intricate beading at the waist for added interest, it showed off Sara’s best assets. Absolutely lovely from start to finish…I know you’ll love today’s Real Wedding as much as we do!
Sara + Kevin | May 26, 2012 | Naples, Florida
The ceremony
We were married at the Ritz Carlton in Naples. I wanted a casually elegant feeling for the wedding and I chose orange & coral (some of my favorite colors) flowers to add a pop of color. We had a non-denominational ceremony on a patio at the resort. It was a small wedding with about 70 guests. We chose not to have any attendants but did have our dog, Bella, in our ceremony.
The reception
The reception was held in the Beach House at the resort. Since the resort overlooks the Gulf of Mexico the views from the 2nd floor for dinner were spectacular and included a wonderful sunset.
How Sara found her dream wedding dress
When I started looking for dresses all I knew is I did not want a “princess” look. I had thought about a sheath dress but was open to ideas. The dress is a bit sexier than I imagined but I fell in love with the dramatic style.
How Sara felt in her wedding dress
I felt glamorous, sexy and very special in the dress.
Why Sara decided to sell her wedding dress
I am a very practical person. I have moved my first wedding dress 3 times and have no idea what to do with it. I thought by selling my dress shortly after my wedding I would be able to recoup some of the cost of the dress.
