Real Wedding | Kelly + Colin

This wine country wedding was everything the bride and groom hoped for, and more. From their sentimental location (they are both admitted “cork dorks”) to the picture perfect details, this celebration was personal and elegant. My favorite element? Kelly’s stunning brooch bouquet – created by using jewelry passed down from family and friends, this one of a kind accessory was part of Kelly’s inspiration when planning this joyous affair.

The ceremony
The ceremony was officiated by my two older brothers who added their own stories and advice about marriage with some humor and lots of sentiment.  Colin and I wrote our own vows.

The reception

Colin and I wanted our wedding to be a party that our families and friends would remember as a modern take on a glamorous garden party.  After cocktail hour among the beautiful gardens, guests sat down under Cornerstone’s white circular tent for an amazing meal and lots of laughter. Post-dinner, the 135 of us relocated to the barn where the now-open doors revealed a transformed space with floor washes by “Got Light?”, family wedding photos and cocktail tables and chairs.

Why Kelly decided to sell her wedding dress
I’m selling my dress because there is another bride out there who should feel the same way, but at a savings. I would have saved the dress to create a christening gown for our future children, but my mom already transformed hers into a family heirloom.
