Set in a premier downtown hotel, this wedding exudes class and style. Gorgeous flowers, pretty strapless bridesmaids dresses, and beautiful table settings at the reception are just a few of the highlights. What was Jenni’s most creative choice? Her “Feathery Opulence” theme. Read more below to discover how she added feathers to almost every aspect of the wedding…from the wedding cake to the “feather boy.” How fun!

The wedding

Our wedding was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle. Feathery Opulence was my wedding theme.  For the invitations, centerpieces, etc., I added feathers.  Instead of a flower girl I had a feather boy.  I had lots and lots of votive candles, which created a romantic feel.

How Jenni found her dream wedding dress

I didn’t have a particular style in mind when I started looking.  I just loved the ruched sweet heart neckline, and the long train that I could French bustle.  I loved the French bustle!  I ended up buying the very first dress I tried on. It was love at first sight with my dress!

Nervous, Happy, and Excited

Why she decided to sell her wedding dress

Every time I see it in the closet I get sad because I think that some happy bride could enjoy the dress as much as I did.
