Simple and elegant…that was Erika’s vision for her wedding gown. And, when she discovered the Melissa Sweet Jillian gown, she knew it was simply perfect! Sleek and form fitting, it showed off her best assets, and kept all eyes on her. Bold color choices (love the bridesmaid’s dresses!) and gorgeous flower arrangements (Erika’s bouquet is truly unique) make this wedding a class act from start to finish. Congratulations to this beautiful couple!

Our ceremony was held at the North Garden in the Sportsmen’s Lodge Event Center. Flowers by Dan beautifully decorated the aisle, chairs and gazebo. I walked down the aisle to Exile, beautifully played by Subito Strings. The garden naturally had fresh flowers and trees, which brought beauty and shade for our ceremony. My husband’s grandfather officiated our wedding, which was a gift and blessing for our marriage.
Immediately following the ceremony, we had a cocktail and appetizer hour. Since we were married during the time of the Annular Eclipse (Ring of Fire), my father purchased visor cards for everyone to witness this miraculous event. The reception commenced with our DJ, DJ Timbo, kicking off the party and getting everyone excited about the evening. By the time my husband and I made our entrance, the energy level was high, and everyone was ready to party! DJ Timbo definitely set the stage for our reception and I believe that they party would not have been nearly as much fun without his MC expertise and music selections.
How Erika found her dream wedding dress
I did not start my dress search with a particular style in mind. I knew that I didn’t want anything too extravagant or prom style. I just wanted something simple and elegant. I was the most interested in fabric and cut of dress.
I would like someone else to feel like the most special and elegant woman in the world, as I did on my special day. Everyone was over the top complimentary of my dress…it’s unique texture and cut, stands out amongst the rest.
