Real Wedding | D’Anne + Patrick

“Welcome friends! Eat, drink and be married!” D’Anne’s adorable hand-painted sign welcoming guests says it all. This charming South Carolina wedding is loaded with chic style and Southern hospitality. I am loving D’Anne’s beautiful bridesmaids dresses…the vivid blue shade looked amazing against the soft pink peonies carried by her attendants. And, her romantic farmhouse-style reception, complete with soft candlelight and vintage accessories, won me over entirely. Cheers to this lovely couple, and their sweet Southern style!

The ceremony

A garden setting on a plantation with Oak Trees, Spanish Moss and a view of the Ashley River in the backdrop.

The reception

The reception took place in a indoor pavilion on the Middleton Place Plantation within walking distance from the cocktail reception and ceremony.  Romatic candlelight, chandeliers, lit fireplace, farmtables, peonies and soft shades of dusty blue and soft pink completed the vinatge, chic look.

How D’Anne found her dream wedding dress

I tried on several styles of dresses but the trumpet flair just felt the most like me.

The way D’Anne felt in her wedding dress

Gorgeous, simply elegant and classicly chic

Why she decided to sell her wedding dress

I want someone else to feel as gorgeous and special as I did when I wore this extraordinary dress.
