Ashley and Jon were married on July 12, 2008 at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City. The bride, Ashley, is from Greenwich, Connecticut and the groom, Jon is from Margate, New Jersey. The couple met while studying at George Washington University in Washington D.C. A few years later, they moved out to Los Angeles where they currently reside, but always wanted to get married closer to home in New York City.
The bride’s main inspirations were “romantic, vintage and Gatsby”. Guests were treated to fabulous views of New York City and surprised at the end of the night with a Custom Candy Shoppe, complete with whoopie pies, a truffle cake by April Reed, Eleni’s bride and groom shaped cookies, mini red velvet cupcakes, as well as a wide assortment of old fashioned candies and snacks!
